A white Moncler jacket can be allowed to show a little sign of wear. At least, that was the customer's view. A bit grubby was fine. But when one sleeve suddenly turned pink, the line had been crossed.
Where did the colour come from? No idea. The customer had neither an explanation nor a suspect.
That called for a little detective work. When we know what caused a stain, we have a better starting point for treatment. Here, no clues came with the jacket, so we had to proceed carefully by trial.
