What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that a website can store in your browser, e.g. so that the site can work or to measure usage. Some services also use local storage in the browser in the same way.

Our categories

• Necessary

  Required for the website to display and work, including page display, navigation and remembering your cookie choice. Cannot be disabled.

• Statistics and analytics

  Used to measure how the website is used so we can improve content and navigation. Only activated if you opt in.

• Marketing and external services

  Third-party content, such as Google Maps and other embedded services, and any marketing. Only activated if you opt in.

What we use today

• Your cookie choice is stored locally in your browser with a version and timestamp. This uses the browser's local storage and does not require us to set a cookie for the purpose. The choice is reused for no more than 180 days; after that we ask again.
• We use Google Analytics for statistics when you have consented to statistics. Without this consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity are not activated on the site. You can change or withdraw your consent via Cookie settings at the bottom of the page.
• The fonts on the site are loaded from our own domain. No information is therefore sent to Google Fonts when you visit the site.
• The contact form sends your enquiry directly to us via our email service Resend and sends a receipt to the email address you have provided. We only measure technical events around the form and do not send the form's free text or content to statistics.
• Free text is never measured. The search field, search results, chat dialogue and forms are marked so that they are masked in any recordings, and neither search terms, chat messages nor form content are sent to statistics.
• The Google Maps map on the contact page is an external service and is only loaded once you have accepted the category “Marketing and external services”. Until then, a link to directions is shown instead.
• Our chat feature “Ask the dry cleaner” runs locally in your browser with fixed, pre-written answers. It does not pass on your questions and does not set third-party cookies.

Technically necessary cookies from hosting

The site is run by our hosting provider, which sets two technical cookies on every visit. They are not used for statistics or marketing and are therefore set without consent.

• __cf_bm — provider Cloudflare. Protects the site against automated abuse (bots). Duration approx. 30 minutes.
• __dpl — provider Lovable (hosting). Technical cookie related to delivering the current version of the site. The provider has not publicly described the exact purpose. Measured duration approx. 1 day.

Statistics cookies and storage of your choice

The following are only set in the situations described.

• _ga — provider Google (Google Analytics). Only set if you have consented to statistics. Used to distinguish visitors from one another in the statistics. Its lifetime is determined by Google's settings.
• _ga_7QXX0SFCW9 — provider Google (Google Analytics). Only set if you have consented to statistics. Used to keep track of visits in the statistics for rens.dk. Its lifetime is determined by Google's settings.
• rens-consent — local storage in your browser, not a cookie. Stores your cookie choice (the selected categories), version and timestamp. The choice is reused for a maximum of 180 days; after that we ask again.

Change or withdraw your consent

You can change your choice at any time. Open the settings below or use the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser's settings.
