Alterations and repairs
Tailoring service — ask us about your task
Minor repairs, taking in and hemming are carried out by an external tailor. Mark with pins or state the exact centimetres — we do not take measurements. Price and time are agreed first.
Process
Assessment, agreement and work
We look at the garment with you and tell you what we can do.
1. Show us the garment
Drop by the shop or send a description and ideally a photo of what you want altered or repaired.
2. Assessment and agreement
We look at the fabric, seams and the scope of the task and agree price and time with you before the work begins.
3. Completion
The task is carried out as agreed, and you will be notified if we come across anything along the way.
We deliberately do not list fixed sewing tasks and fixed prices here. Ask us about your particular task — then you will get a specific and accurate answer.
Frequently asked questions
Minor repairs, taking in and hemming are carried out by an external tailor. We receive the garment and your description in the shop and agree the task with you.
No, we do not take measurements. For taking in or hemming, the garment must be marked with pins, or you must state exactly how many centimetres need to be altered.
Drop by the shop at Ringstedvej 9 during opening hours with the garment, or write a description to us. We look at the task and tell you what we can do.
Yes, the tasks can be combined. Tell us if the garment also needs to be dry cleaned or washed, and we will plan the order.
The price depends on the task and is agreed once we have seen the garment. We do not start until you have said yes.
We agree that from task to task. If you have a specific date you need the garment for, tell us straight away.
