Curtains

Curtains for homes and businesses

Curtains are large surfaces that collect dust and odours. We treat them according to material and lining, so they come home clean without unnecessary strain on the fabric.

Treatment

What we look at

Feel free to send details of the material and dimensions, so we can assess the job more quickly.

Fabric and lining

Cotton, linen, polyester, blackout lining and blends behave differently in water. We choose the treatment based on the material and the care label.

Hanging and details

Tapes, hooks, rings, eyelets and lead weights are checked. Feel free to tell us how the curtain hangs, so we can take it into account.

Sun and dust

Curtains collect dust and are affected by sunlight over time. Treatment makes them cleaner, but sun fading and thread damage cannot be treated away.

Businesses and public organisations

We wash curtains for larger hospitals in Denmark and handle jobs for offices, clinics, institutions and rental properties — as a one-off job or a regular arrangement.

Business and public-sector work

Capacity for large curtain jobs

We wash curtains for larger hospitals in Denmark, so we are used to large volumes, labelling and agreed delivery days.

  • Fixed or ongoing arrangements by department, building or season.
  • Agreed labelling and sorting, so the curtains return to the right rooms.
  • Assessment of fabric and lining before the treatment is chosen.

Frequently asked questions

The curtains must be handed in already taken down. We do not offer taking down and rehanging as part of the service. If you are unsure about a larger job, contact us and we will assess it together.

Some materials can shrink slightly. That is why we assess the fabric and lining first, and we recommend measuring the curtain's length before handing it in.

It helps if you remove hooks and rings. If you cannot, tell us when you hand the curtains in, so we can take it into account.

No. Sun fading and weakened threads are a change in the material itself and cannot be treated away. Treatment makes the curtain cleaner but does not change sun-exposed areas.

Odours can often be reduced, but we cannot guarantee they will disappear completely. It depends on the material, lining and how long the curtain has hung in the room.

It depends on the type and condition of the lining. Coated blackout lining can be sensitive to water and mechanical action, so we assess the curtain before we say yes.
