After a cold, damp winter, the cushions were taken out of the storage bench. The damp had left its mark in the form of unsightly blotches, and the customer came in to ask whether they could be made to look nice again.
We took the cushions in for treatment. The result was not perfect, and traces of the blotches remained. But the improvement was big enough that the customer was pleased and could use the cushions for another couple of seasons.
Damp marks can be difficult to remove completely. That is why we always assess the material, condition and care label and tell you what we expect is possible.
If your cushions have also had a hard winter, bring them in. We will see whether they are worth treating.
